REPENTANT FROM DEAD WORKS Part 1

In the heart of every person there is a desire to be safe and secure. Little children are often afraid of being left alone. They also may fear the dark, or the unknown. Children crave the security of being held in the loving embrace of their parents. There they feel confident and protected. As we mature, the desire to be safe and secure never leaves us. This inborn desire was given to us by our Creator. While some men act fearless, in their hearts they may fear the unknown, suffering, accident, or sickness. They may also have an uneasy feeling about what might happen to them after death.

God is the creator of heaven and earth. Making man was the crowning act of His creation. He placed Adam and his wife Eve in a paradise home called the Garden of Eden. They were secure, happy, and free. Then Satan appeared in the form of a serpent and deceived them. Because of their disobedience to God, they fell out of fellowship with Him and were driven from Eden. (Genesis 3)

What a drastic change! Before, Adam and Eve had been safe and without fear. They were at peace with their Creator, enjoying His presence. Now, instead of inner peace, there was unrest, guilt, and fear. They were even afraid of God and hid from Him! They had experienced spiritual death, which is separation from God. When fellowship with Him was broken through disobedience, there was deep distress in their hearts. Only fellowship with the living God can satisfy the soul.

Prayer in The Face of Hard Times

Proverbs 18:10 says: “The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe

My God and my God revive and restore your people Lord, to command possibilities to prove you in the face of hard times.. lord equip your people miraculously, graciously because I know that equipping your people to command heaven to move spiritually and physically to command the earth to move spiritually and physically to command every situation to give way spiritually, physically ,materially, technically is possible and I know that the almighty God you are faithful you don’t want us to move out of your track, you want us to enjoy everlasting peace and safety, he does not want to see disaster O, Lord thank you for the moment of walking in possibilities .

Give us the grace to demonstrate your words in Jesus name.

COMMANDING POSSIBILITIES

Hello folks, in our next segment we be exploring, the terms of commanding possibilities,  guidance on how to approach possibilities biblically. When it comes to understanding possibilities from a spiritual perspective, here are some key principles and passages we will be diving into.

1. Faith, faith in God and His plan. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” This verse highlights the power of faith in achieving possibilities.

2. God’s Sovereignty: Proverbs 16:9 says, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

3. Seeking God’s Will: When considering different possibilities, it’s important to seek God’s will and guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6.

4. Prayer: Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God

5. Wisdom: James 1:5. Seeking wisdom from God can help in discerning possibilities and making decisions.

6. Trusting in God’s Timing: Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us,.” Understanding that God has a timing for everything can help us be patient and trust in His plan.

Ultimately, exploring possibilities biblically involves aligning our thoughts, actions, and decisions with God’s Word and seeking His guidance in all aspects of our lives. By prayer, faith, seeking wisdom, and trusting in God’s sovereignty, you can navigate possibilities in a way that honors

Equipping You to Walk in Possibilities.

In the world today, people build castles for the unexplainable situations they experience. They keep dwelling in their past glory while accepting their present tormenting situation and eventually label it to be impossible.

Some to an extent do series of prayer and fasting to change their situation but all to no avail. A lot of persons have been mentally derailed, unstable, distressed and frustrated into committing suicide, atrocities and so on. They fail to walk through the moment’s of  possibilities.

Thus, this book is written to take you through the moments of possibilities, transforming those abnormalities to begin to work in your favour. It will make “dry bones in your life to rise again” The bible made us understand that with the word of God prophecy into those impossible situations just like that of Israel in Ezekiel 37: 4-11, every dry bones shall rise again Furthermore, this book will also enlighten and enable you walk in moments of possibilities.

The moments of walking in possibilities is here and now. It is high time you walk in possibilities because God is fully capable of equipping you to walk in possibilities.

Walking in possibilities is a phenomenon in which one appreciates, honour, accepts, receives and is most hungry for the word of God which eventually helps one overcome his/ her difficulties and problems in life. Life is full of tribulations. John 16:33 says these things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye shall have tribulations,  but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Hence, it is certain to face challenges and impossible situations in life but God in His word made us understand that He has overcome the world with its tribulations.

Therefore, this book will help you through the moments of walking in possibilities by acquiring important criteria needed to go through the process of walking in possibilities.

It will further expose you to the realm of possibilities and will eventually make you experience possibilities in areas where curse, sickness, barrenness, chronic failure, limitations, and financial setbacks have dominated your life situations.

Availing  yourself to the mercy of God

to free you from all forms of confusion and difficulties. Christopher is a reality of these experiences of possibilities. He tried severally to travel abroad but was disappointed and duped. He never gave up on God, believing and having faith in God’s word; he was determined to travel abroad no matter the obstacles, challenges and trying times.

Christopher’s travel mission looks impossible to him but eventually was possible with the help of God. He was encouraged by the word of God. Acts 27:25, So he keep up  courage, and says to himself for  I have faith in God that it will happen,  just as he believes  the word of God, this courage helped him overcome obstacles and flood his world with possibilities.

You need to conquer fear and self-doubt and embrace the word of God as a place to grow. Nothing is more powerful than the word of God which is God Himself. Therefore, provide a new roadmap that aligns possibilities with your inherent potentials knowing the fact that nothing will be impossible with God  Luke 1: 37.

For the impossible to be made possible, we need to fully trust in God. Cast any doubt aside no matter how reasonable they appear to be. You need to show recognition that you can’t do it alone by appealing to God for his help.

PRAYER

O LORD my God, imbed in me your grace and mercy to experience possibilities in any aspect I am facing impossibilities as a re result of my ignorance of the ministry and revelations of the word of God.I humbly ask for the grace to walk in possibilities in this journey of my life, ministry, family business and career.

Let your word which was in the beginning and is the same word today mechanise possibilities that generates success in all ramification begins to work in my life in Jesus Powerful name I Pray. Amen.

EXPERIENCING POSSIBILITIES

A young man was sent to jail for a punishment he did not commit. He wondered, where God is, does he exist, why is this happening to him? He made a positive move with faith that whosoever believes in God will be set free. In the middle of the tunnel you can go to Him in prayer and make your request known. Know he is watching you and will answer.

The young man was vindicated after making his supplications known to God. Today, he is a free man giving his testimony of experiencing possibilities to the glory of God the Father.Do you quickly lose confidence when you fail or do not succeed at something? Do things that appear easy and extremely possible for others can be challenging and seemingly impossible for you? Be of good courage! Today that which is beyond the bounds of possibilities for you is not in the presence of God who created heaven and earth.

You are not alone in this! Mark 10: 27- says with people it is impossible but not with God, for all things are possible with God. You constantly need to overcome obstacles and flood your world with possibilities.

Over time, you have to use the mind of possibility to build yourself a castle where certainty wins over uncertainty; possibilities wins over impossibilities.

Ways to appreciate and honour the word of God.

We can appreciate and honour the word of God by the following means:

With our First Fruit . Proverb 3: 9 – 10 Honour the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruit of all your crops. Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over new wine.  Giving thanks to God with sacrifices i.e Thanksgiving to God. Psalms 107:22. And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Jeremiah 30:19. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

Honour the poor and do not oppress them. Prov. 14: 31. whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honour’s God. Obedience to God and His Word given to us in Exodus 20: 1-17. Deuteronomy 11: 27.

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day, Deuteronomy 6: 17- Be sure to keep the commands of the LORD your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you. is it to the fatherless and widows in afflictions. James 1:27.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is to do this, to look after orphans and widows in their distress or afflictions and to keep oneself from being polluted by the World, Love the Lord your God with all thy heart. Deut. 6: 5.

Love the LORD your God with all your hearts and and with all your soul and with all your strength, It is written in 1 Samuel 2: 30. It says for them that honour me, I will honour and those that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. Hence, it is profitable to honour and appreciate God which was the word according to the book of John 1:1. Then we can confidently walk in possibilities because there is lots of blessing attached to the appreciation and honouring of the word of God. DON’T MISS OUT!!! Our next episode !.

Appreciating and Honouring the Word of God

Billions of people face difficulties and impossibilities because they do not appreciate and honour the word of God.

Many people believe and have faith in the word but don’t appreciate and honour these words in their individual lives.

Lots of people are guilty of this actions. You need God to do wonders in your life yet don’t appreciate and honour his word which is God himself according to John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Appreciating and honouring God’s word is to be fully aware and accept the Word of God. This means you must acknowledge and show respect for His word. Do not doubt the word of God because it’s capable of changing the situation of wondering in impossibilities to possibilities. When you appreciate and honour God’s word in your life, business, ministry, family situations/cases that you seem not to have remedy will receive immediate and permanent solutions.

I have come to realize that when we have deep love and appreciation for God’s word, we have a deep love and appreciation for God. (Nehemiah 8:1-10) It is written in John 1 -5 that “the word was God” thus, when you appreciate and honour the word of God you invariable appreciate and honour God because the word was God.

Abram appreciated and honoured the word of God and in return God blessed him. God made a promise to him and fulfilled it. God made Abram the father of many nations according to Gen 17:5
he says neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have made thee.

I prophecy to someone reading these content  that as you appreciate and honour God’s word, God will change your name just like Abram; He will give you a new name that will change your negative situation to positivity; he will establish your name just as like Abram. You will receive the grace that supersedes all grace to walk out the physical manifestation of God in all aspect of your life, ministry and business.in Jesus name. Amen

HAVING FAITH IN GOD

Having faith in God

O LORD my God give me the grace to Invest  your ‘word’ in every area of my life so that all things can work for me for good  according to Romans 8: 28 in Jesus name. Amen.

A young man once demonstrated the act of having faith in God. He had faith in God through the word of God. This young man was diagnosed to have appendicitis which eventually was operated but had complications in the process.

He had to go through an intestine twist surgery which from research has been said to be 20% positivity of survival. This literally means one out of five persons survives the surgical operations.

Most people thought he won’t survive, he was eventually given up until the word of God came

to him and he prophesied it upon his life saying I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of God upon my life in the land of the living Jeremiah 32:17- Ah, Lord God! It is you who made heaven and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.

Mark 10: 27 Jesus said With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.

After much consultations with the word of God he believed and had trust in God then went for surgery and he was operated upon his intestine. To the glory of God Almighty, the young man survived the surgical operation which seems to be impossible in the thoughts of man but was possible in the presence of God. According to Luke1: 37 For nothing will be impossible with God.

I prophecy in the name of the Most High God.upon your life, that whatever you may have imagine to be impossible in your life today shall be possible, according to His word in Jesus name. Amen.

The young man mentioned above exercise what we call faith in God. Then, What is Faith? Faith can be defined as a strong belief in the super natural powers that controls human destiny. It is also referred to as a complete confidence in something upon your life, that whatever you may have imagined to be impossible in your life today shall be possible, according to His word in Jesus name. Amen.

The bible defines Faith as a substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrew 11:1. Thus having faith in God is a firm, strong belief in the supernatural powers of God that ascertain or manipulate human destiny, life conditions, circumstances. Faith in God could also be said to be a complete everlasting, unadulterated, perfect confidence in God to settle either indeterminable or unachievable situations once faced in the course of life struggles.

Faith and Believe

Gen. 15:1-6 ..the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. But Abram said, Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus? You have given me no children,  so a servant in my household will be my heir. Then the word of the LORD came to Abram, this man will not be your heir, but a son who is

your own flesh and blood will be your heir. He took him outside and said Look up at the sky and count the stars if indeed you can count them. Then said to him, so shall your offspring be. Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. Why, then do you neglect the word of God

when you face impossible situations just as Abram, Avail yourself to believe God and His word written in the bible and in your hearts.

The greatest secrets of Abrams success, establishments, accomplishments and fulfilment  is that Abram accepted and believed in God and his words. Therefore, start operating in the word of God and those things that look impossibly in the eyes of men will be possible with God.

I decree upon your life today by the Power in the Mighty name of Jesus, You will come out of impossibilities, your tears shall be wiped away just like Abram,  this generation will see the handwork of possibilities in your life. As Abram succeeds, you will succeed because you’re his seed you’ll not die in iniquity, curse, barrenness, reproach, difficulties, negativity in Jesus Name Amen.

Confess these words upon your life,  I believe in the word of God,  I  understand God’s word, I can  make use of the word of God to transform all impossibilities in my life to possibilities.

I can  exercise love, hope and trust in the word of God at the right time and in the right place in the LORD’s name  Amen.

ASPECTS OF WALKING IN POSSIBILITIES

Over four to six billion people face impossibilities irrespective of their qualification, profession, positions and wealth.

A lot face unbearable, hopeless situations irrespective of their denomination, religion, ministry, career, Now a number of people who encounter these impossibilities eventually strive towards overcoming them. They walk in possibility but lack the criteria required to be successful to get to their destination.

For you to overcome the impossible situation around you. There is a need to understand and process the aspects of walking in possibilities. The aspects of working in possibilities are the criterias to consider in the process of walking in possibilities alongside God.

These includes the following:

I. Believing in the Word of God.

II. Having Faith in God.

III. Appreciating and Honouring the word

IV. Having Trust in God.

# BELIEVING IN THE WORD OF GOD

In Matt. 4:4. Jesus said, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. The word of God is the thoughts of God.

Heb. 4:12. The Greek translates the term ‘word’ as ‘logos’ which basically means expression of thought. God expresses his thoughts to man through the Word.

The word of God is the God’s spoken word. It is the word that comes directly from the mouth of God which gives life.

According to John 6:63, Jesus says “It is the spirit who gives quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the word the speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.

The word of God is God himself. John 1:1 ‘In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.

The word of God is light. John 1:4 – 5 “in Him was life; and the life was the light of men, and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not Therefore, to walk in possibilities you have to believe in God and His word.

The word of God is powerful and is able to equip you to begin to walk in possibilities. Heb. 4:12. His word can transform situations that seems to be impossible to solve, possible within a twinkle

of an eye. Only if you believe and trust in the word of God, of the second person in the trinity  the incarnate person of God. The following are biblical illustrations of the power of the word of God. When you believe and trust, it changes impossible situations to possibilities.

You will begin to walk in possibilities just as these persons in the bible. The man with a disease of leprosy.

Matt. 8: 1-3. a man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said “if you are willing, you can make me clean. Jesus reached out his hands and touched the man, I am willing, he said  Be clean Immediately he was cleaned of his leprosy.

Matthew. 8: 3 is stretching out his hands towards you today saying I am willing to heal you of whatever affliction you are experiencing presently.

Be clean, he said , from impossibilities, financial limitations, setbacks, etc. Believe and trust in these words and you shall be healed.

A centurion in Capernaum, once walked in possibility. He had this belief in the word of God to be powerful. He went further to ask Jesus for help. Lord he said, my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly, Jesus said to him, shall I come and heal him, the centurion replied,  Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof, but just say the word and my servant will be healed.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go! Let it be done. just as you believed it would. And the servant was healed at that moment. Praise the Lord!

Realm of Walking in Possibilities Part 1

Nowadays, the possibilities which seem very likely are possibilities of evil terrorism, plague, death, scarcity, poverty, there is more conversation of impossibilities than possibilities. Everywhere you go, there seems to be an air of negativity and impossibilities.

The wind of impossibilities is blowing strongly and seems to be likely the possibilities of evil, death,

barrenness, failure, scarcity, limitations, terrorism, captivity, financial lack and afflictions.

The possibilities of succeeding or excelling seems very elusive, tough and baffling because there is more talk of the realm’s impossibilities than possibilities.

The environment and community is polluted. Hence the realm of impossibilities, fear and doubt has

almost consume the world.

However, one must not allow the prevailing negative atmosphere to overwhelm us in our present

predicament, conditions or situations. We must consciously elevate ourselves to walking in the realm of possibilities with God.

Matthew 19:26 says, With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible, Thus walking in the realm of possibilities could be done perfectly with the word of God.

Become a possibility  No matter how dark things seems to be or actually are, raise your sight and see possibilities with God on your side and His word leading you to achievements of a successful ministry, career, profession,

Promotion Therefore, Walking in the Realm of Possibilities’ is a realm of encounter with the word of God performing divine miracles.

It is a realm of reality of the true living God it is a realm of power in the word  it is a realm of holiness and purity  it is a realm where God walks with us in possibilities

Ephesians 3:20 now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us it is a realm of limitless possibilities,  it is a realm where destinies change miracles occur,  victory is obtained and problems solved.

Finally, it is a realm where situations that look impossible in our lives transform into possibilities. Thus, the impossible becomes possible with the mercy and grace of God Almighty who created the universe and all that is in it. There are illustrations in the bible of lots of people who walked in the realm of possibilities.

An excellent example is the story of Peter in the bible. (Act 12: 1-11) Peter was arrested and kept in prison by King Herod. The night before Herod was to bring Peter to trial, something unremarkable happened.

The situation of Peter that looked impossible, became possible as the angel of the Lord suddenly appeared and light shone in the cell struck Peter on the side and woke him up. Quick, get up, he said and the chains fell off Peter’s wrist. Act 12: 7. That night Peter was walking in the realm of possibilities without knowledge of it. He followed the angel of the Lord out of prison, he had no idea that the angel was doing it was really happening, he thought he was seeing a vision. Act 12:9.

I pray for you today, just as Peter was released from prison and experienced possibilities, you shall be released from every bondage of difficulties, problems and impossibilities that has put you in prison in Jesus Mighty name Amen.

Realm in Possibilities Part 2

Thus, this message is written to take you through the moments of possibilities, transforming those abnormalities to begin to work in your favour. It will make “dry bones in your life to rise Again” The bible made us understand that with the word of God prophecy into those impossibly situations just like that of Isreal in Ezekiel 37: 4-11 ……’every dry bones shall rise again’.

Furthermore, this text will also enlighten and enable you walk in moments of possibilities. The moments of walking in possibilities is here and now. It is high time you walk in possibilities because God is fully capable of equipping you to

walk in possibilities. Walking in possibilities is a phenomenon in which one appreciate, honour, accept, receive and are most hunger for the word of God of which eventually help one overcome his/ her

difficulties and problems in life.

God’s Gift: The Christmas

God created man in his own image and placed him in a beautiful garden. Man disobeyed God’s instructions. This disobedience was sin and separated man from God. He told them that they should sacrifice perfect young animals for their sins. These sacrifices did not pay for their sin but only pointed forward to the ultimate sacrifice that God would provide. Someday God would send his Son Jesus to this earth to be that ultimate sacrifice for the sins of all people.

Four thousand years later, in the town of Nazareth, there lived a young woman named Mary. She was engaged to be married to Joseph. One day an angel appeared to Mary and told her she would have a special baby. She should name Him Jesus. This baby would not have an earthly father. He would be God’s Son.

After the angel’s visit, Joseph and Mary made a long journey to Bethlehem to pay their taxes. When they reached Bethlehem, the city was crowded. They spent the night in the stable because there was no room in the inn. There Jesus was born. Mary wrapped baby Jesus in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger.

An angel appeared and the glory of God shone around the shepherds. The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I have good news that will bring great joy to all people. This night a Savior has been born. He is Jesus Christ the Lord. You will find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” Then many angels appeared glorifying and praising God, saying “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will to men.” When the angels had gone away, the shepherds left their sheep and went quickly to Bethlhem. There they found the baby just as the angel had said they would.

After Jesus was born, wise men came from another country to Jerusalem. They asked, “Where is the baby who is born King of the Jews? We have seen his star in the east and want to worship Him.” When King Herod heard this, he was not happy. He called together the priests and teachers of the law. They told him the prophets had said a ruler would be born in Bethlehem. King Herod sent the wise men to Bethlehem to search for this king. As the wise men left Jerusalem, the star led them to the house where they found baby Jesus. They fell down and worshiped, giving Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. God warned the wise men in a dream that they should not return to wicked King Herod, so they went home a different way.

Jesus was God’s Son. He lived without sin and was perfect in all his ways. At thirty years of age, Jesus began to teach the people about God, his Father. He did many miracles such as giving sight to the blind, healing many people of their diseases, and even raising the dead. Above all, He taught the way to have eternal life in heaven. Then He gave his life as a sacrifice for the sin of the whole world.

The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus came to this earth to die on a cross as the supreme sacrifice. By his death, the price for all sin has been paid. There is no more need to offer sacrifices for sin. This was the fulfillment of God’s promise to send the Savior.

REFLECTION
When we choose to believe and surrender our life to Jesus, his blood cleanses us from all our sin. As we accept this gift of salvation, we are reunited with God. Jesus becomes our personal Savior, and we can enjoy the blessings of being his child! Someday Jesus is coming back. He will take all the true believers to heaven. There they will live forever with God.

Present and future.

Do you know that there is Someone who knows everything about you? It is God who created the world and everything in it. Jesus, God’s Son, also knows everything that you have ever done. He knows the past, present, and future. He loves you and came to this world to save you from sin. He has a plan for your life to bring you happiness.

One day Jesus was traveling with His friends. He came to a village in Samaria. Jesus sat down by a well to rest while His friends went to buy food.

As Jesus was sitting there, a woman came to get water from the well. Jesus asked her, “Can you give me a drink of water?”

The woman was surprised. “You asked me for a drink? Don’t you know that I am a Samaritan and your people, the Jews, don’t have anything to do with us?”

Jesus gently answered, “If you really knew about God and who you are talking to, you would have asked me to give you living water. I would gladly have done it.”

The woman looked at Him in surprise. “Sir,” she said, “the well is deep. You have nothing to draw with. How will you draw out this living water?”

Again Jesus replied, “Those who drink from this well will get thirsty again. But if you drink the water that I can give, you will never thirst again.”

“Sir,” the woman said, “give me this water so I won’t ever be thirsty again nor will I need to come back here to get water.”

“Go, tell your husband and come back here,” Jesus said.

“I don’t have a husband,” she replied.

“That is true,” Jesus said. “You have had five husbands, but the one you have now is not your husband.”

How does this Man know about me? she wondered. “Sir, I can see that you are a prophet. I have a question for you. My people have worshipped God here at this place. You say that Jerusalem is the place to worship.”

Jesus told her, “It is not so important where we worship; today true believers can worship the Father in spirit and in truth anywhere.”

“I know that the Messiah is coming who is called Christ,” she said, “and when He comes, He will explain everything.”

Then Jesus simply told her, “I am He.”

She left her water pot and went back into the city. “Come,” she cried, “come and see a Man Who has told me everything that I have ever done. Is He not the Christ?”

Then the people of the city went out to meet Jesus. Many believed that He was the Christ, the Savior, because He knew everything about them. You can read this account in the Bible in St. John 4:3-42.

Jesus knows everything about us, the good as well as the bad. We would like to hide the bad things we have done in our lives, but we can’t hide them from Jesus. He has come to save us from the punishment we deserve for doing wrong. He can take away that heavy feeling we feel in our hearts and give us peace. He died to take away our sins and make it possible that we can have a home in heaven when we die.

Jesus is the answer to all of your needs and all of your questions. He wants to be your friend. He wants to fill the emptiness in your heart. He can replace your fear and unrest with peace and calm.

Jesus says, “Come unto me…and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Just pray to God and tell Him you are sorry for your sins. Ask Jesus to come into your life. As you commit yourself to this great God in faith, He will abide in your heart. His presence will give you joy. He will give you strength and purpose in life. He will be the answer for you.

love of Jesus Part 2

A father had two sons. The younger son said, “Give me my share of the money.” He took it and went far away from home. He and his friends wasted the money, having a good time. Soon it was all spent. Then his friends left him alone.

A man gave him work feeding pigs, but he did not have anything to eat. He was so hungry!

He thought, “My father’s servants have much to eat. I will go home, and I will say to my father, ‘I have sinned. I can no longer be like a son. May I work for you as a servant?’” and the younger son started for home.

The father was watching and waiting for his son. How he missed him! When he saw his son coming, he ran and hugged him and kissed him!

The son said, “Father, I have sinned. I am no more worthy to be called your son. Just let me be one of your hired servants.”

But the father had already forgiven him. He told his servants, “Put a coat and shoes on him. Kill a calf, and we will have a happy dinner together. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.” From Luke 15:11-24.

This story shows how Jesus loves all sinners. The Bible says, “There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” (Luke 15:10).

The Bible tells us another story about how much God loves everyone.

One day a man walked down a lonely road. He met robbers in the way. They jumped on him and hurt him. They took his clothes and his money. Then they ran away. The man was badly hurt. He could not get up.

A priest came down the road and saw the man who was hurt, but he did not help him. He hurried by on the other side of the road.

A Levite came down the road. He also saw the man who was hurt and stopped to look at him, but he did not help him either. He walked by on the other side, too.

A Samaritan came riding down the road on his donkey. When he saw the man who was hurt, he stopped to see if he could help him. He washed his cuts with oil and wrapped them up. He put the man on his donkey and took him to the nearest inn.

In the morning, the good Samaritan said to the innkeeper, “Take care of the man until he is well. Here is money to pay you. If it is not enough, I will pay you more when I come again.” Found in Luke 10:30-35.

Jesus wants us to be loving and kind to those who are in need. When the love of Jesus lives in our hearts, we will do nothing because we are proud or selfish. But in humility, we will think more of others than we do of ourselves. We will not look only to our own interests, but will try to think and understand how others feel, too. The Bible says, “By love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13).

We are to love our enemies and forgive those who treat us wrongly. We are never to return evil for evil.

When we have the love of Jesus in our hearts, we will be kind to our friends, obedient to our parents, and happy to tell other boys and girls what the Lord has done for us.

Jesus loved us so much that He died on the cruel cross for our sins. Now we should love Him so much that we give our hearts and lives to Him.

“We love him, because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19)

Jesus Loves You

Jesus loves and cares for all boys and girls everywhere. He wants to live in your hearts. He has a plan for each of you and wants to lead your lives.

Once, while talking to His friend, Jesus taught that boys and girls are much more important to God than flowers and birds.

Birds do not plant seeds and store up food. God feeds them. He helps them find bugs and seeds to eat. Flowers live only a few days. God gives them beautiful shapes and colors. You are much more important to Him than these. So if God takes care of the birds and flowers, He will certainly take care of all boys and girls. See Matthew 6:25-33.

He gives you food and clothes and helps you to be good and kind. You need to put your trust in Him, for He knows what is best for you. He is a loving God who wants to help all those who are in need. In your troubles, or sickness, or sorrow, He will help you. The Bible says, “If we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us” (1 John 5:14). to be contineu..

WHAT A FRIEND IN JESUS

God is the one Who created the world and everything in it. He is Lord of Heaven and earth. He gives life and breath to all things.
Jesus is the Son of God.
God sent Him from heaven to this earth to be our very own Savior. God loved the world so much (that means He loved you and me) that He sent His only Son, Jesus, (to die for our sins) that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Jesus came to earth as a tiny baby. His father and mother on earth were Joseph and Mary. He was born in a stable and laid in a manger.

Jesus grew up with Joseph and Mary and He obeyed them. He had brothers and sisters to play with. He helped Joseph in his carpenter shop.
When Jesus grew to be a man, He taught the people about His Father in heaven. He showed them that God loved them. He healed the sick and comforted those in trouble. He was a Friend of the children. He wanted to have the children close to Him. He had time for them. The children loved Jesus and loved to be with Him.

Some people did not love Jesus. They envied Him, and even hated Him. They hated Him so much that they wanted to kill Him. One dreadful day they killed Jesus by nailing Him to a cross. Jesus had done nothing wrong. He had to die in our place because you and I have done wrong.
The story of Jesus does not end with His death. God raised Him from the dead! His followers saw Him. Then one day He went back to heaven.

Today He is able to see and hear you. He knows all about you and cares for you. Just come to Him in prayer. Tell Him all about your troubles. He is ready to help you. You can bow your head and talk to Him, anytime, anywhere.

Someday He is coming again! He will take all those who believe on Him home to heaven.

True Shepherd

The following story illustrates Jesus’s love and care for all people. A shepherd had one hundred sheep. He loved his sheep and kept them in a pleasant valley deep within the mountains. The valley was a safe place, but the mountains were dangerous. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters” (Psalm 23:1-2).

Sometimes the shepherd led his sheep into the mountains to find pasture. The shepherd watched over the sheep, protected them, and then led them back to the safety of the valley before darkness fell. When they reached the sheepfold, the careful shepherd counted the sheep as they went through the gate. “Then said Jesus… I am the door of the sheep… by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved” (John 10:7, 9).

God Answer Prayers

There is hope! God in His mercy came to Adam and Eve and clearly revealed the great sin they had committed, but He promised a Redeemer who would deliver them.

Many years later, Jesus Christ was born. He taught the way of truth. He came so that we could have spiritual life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). To receive this new life, we must become converted. Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3).

Like Adam and Eve, our sins bring guilt and shame. Jesus calls us to repent of our sins, which means we are sorry for them and are willing to forsake them. If we turn to Jesus, asking Him to forgive our sins and believing He is able to save us, He cleanses our hearts. He gives us daily grace as we yield to His Spirit and walk in obedience to His Word. We are filled with the Holy Spirit, which gives us power to overcome sin. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).

The Christian believer trusts God to provide and care for him. He listens to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who comforts him when he does right and reproves him when he does wrong. He learns more and more to trust God for strength to overcome temptations. Each victory strengthens his faith. He finds that victory is always within reach when he relies on God’s enabling grace each day.

A Christian believer becomes aware that sin separates him from God. Therefore, he no longer associates with evil companions and he avoids ungodly activities. God does not force him to do this. He chooses to live separately from the evils of the world.

The child of God is at peace because the guilt of sin has been taken away. Confident in God’s love and forgiveness, he brings his cares and burdens to God in prayer. This makes it possible to live without anxiety and fear. He walks daily with Jesus, thus finding true happiness and fulfillment. As long as he does not sin wilfully, he remains at peace with God.

A true believer in Christ seeks fellowship with those who share his faith and trust in God. Together, they find joy in talking about their Christian lives. They share their blessings and struggles to strengthen each other. Burdens become lighter, and there is new strength for victory.

Will you surrender your life to Jesus? God’s grace is available to all who will repent and believe. Commit your past, present, and future to Him. Nothing less than complete, heartfelt repentance and faith in Christ will bring the peace, joy, and enabling grace of God into your life. Give Him your heart today and he will surely answer your prayer in Jesus Name.. Amen.. Because he loves me, says the lord, ” I will rescue him: i will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and i will answer him…. (psalm 91:14) (NIV).

Does God Answer Prayer

Millions address countless prayers to numberless of deities. Why does it seem that so many prayers are not answered?
East or West, people offer prayers for many and varied personal reasons. Obviously, they want their prayers to be heard and answered. However, is it realistic to expect that all prayers will be favorably heard? What about your own prayers? Are they answered? In fact, does God answer prayers at all?

Prayer is a humble plea directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus. Prayer is expressing ourselves to a loving father in heaven. In prayer our spirit communicates with God either through words spoken or even in our thoughts. God wants us to speak with Him. We may come to Him with our thankfulness, requests, and disappointments.

Upon praying for the first time, some people say they feel strange, as if they are speaking to nothing. This is what Satan wants us to believe, that we will not pray again. The truth is that the Bible assures us that, wherever we are and whatever hour it may be, God hears our sincere request. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us” (1 John 5:14).

Prayer is talking to God. Speak directly to Him in a frank and sincere manner, telling Him all that you feel and need. If you do not understand why you feel as you do, tell God about it. The Bible says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26). When you are frustrated and discouraged or happy and thankful, express yourself to God. It is important to be honest in prayer. God wants to hear how we really feel down deep inside.

Listen to what God may have to tell you. He speaks to us by giving impressions and thoughts. These may come while we are praying. Even the words that we pray can be the result of impressions given by God. God wants to communicate His will to us. He may do this during prayer or afterward. He speaks through His Spirit, through the Bible, and through His servants.

When we pray, we need to shut out the distractions of the world around us and concentrate on our communion with God. While we can pray in any place and in any position, we need a quiet place if possible. As we close our eyes and kneel in reverence to God we are better able to meditate. Our attention needs to be focused on God (Matthew 6:6).

Eternity

The word eternity is used in Isaiah 57:15 where it states that God inhabits eternity. He is eternal with no beginning and no end. This can be said only of God, for man has beginning but his soul has no end. The dictionary agrees with the Bible that eternity is a duration without end; the state into which the soul passes at death and in which it remains forever and ever.

The opening statement of the Bible, “In the beginning God created the heaven and earth” (Genesis 1:1), has reference to the creation of the heaven and the earth and all things therein (Colossians 1:16-17). God has decreed that all things shall cease to exist: “the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).

Man is a creature of time-he takes time, uses time, and depends on time. His life is controlled by time. Time, however, as important as it is, has no relation to eternity. Eternity is unique and incomparable. It has no measurable length, breadth, depth nor height. It offers no opportunity to change the eternal destiny that was chosen in life. It is everlastingly the same.

In all of creation, only man, clothed with a changed and immortal body, will make the transition from time into eternity. Man is the only creature who has the “breath of life” (Genesis 2:7), which lasts forever as God does.

Eternal Destinies

here are only two eternal destinies—the blessed abode of the saved and the flaming abyss of the lost. The Bible speaks of Paradise and of the pit of hell, of glorious light and of total darkness.

There are Only Two Destinies
On the Judgment Day, only two groups of people will step forth, “they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation” (John 5:29).

When the lost shall hear the great Judge declare their sentence of guilt, “I never knew you; depart from me,” (Matthew 7:23) where will those doomed souls go? When the righteous eyes of the King pierce the guilty one and no excuse rings true, what will happen? When the Book of Life is opened and the name is missing, what then?

Geology of Christ 2

He inspired his prophets to foretell of the coming of their Redeemer. To make it more impressive and that man might be looking for Him; He gave them rituals to observe in their worship pointing to Christ. Through centuries many prophets have spoken of Him as they were led of the Holy Ghost. The patriarch Jacob foretold in the blessing of Judah: “The sceptre shall not depart from Judah… until Shiloh come” (Genesis 49:10). Moses the great man of God said: “The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken” (Deuteronomy 18:15). The prophet Isaiah spoke words which Jesus much later applied to Himself: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives” (Isaiah 61:1). More than seven hundred years before the birth of our Savior, the prophet Micah pinpointed the city of his nativity by saying: “But thou, Bethlehem… out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel” (Micah 5:2). His coming was in a time when gross darkness prevailed, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people” (Isaiah 60:2).

The fullness of time had come and the angel of the Lord announced the great event. First Mary was told, “That holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35), and “Thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). Later it was announced to the shepherds who watched their flocks by night, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). A multitude of the heavenly host in a night chorus praised God saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). After the angels were gone into heaven, the shepherds went to behold this wonder of wonders and found it as the angels had made known unto them. Wise men from the east, guided by a star, sought Him and found Him as foretold (Matthew 2:11). Many people marvel at the birth of Jesus and search the Scriptures for details to be assured that Jesus is the only “name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Jesus confirms this great gift in John 3:16 by saying: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God gave his Son to be crucified that through this atonement, shedding of his blood, we might have the forgiveness of sins. Now if Jesus had not come into the world, there would have been no atonement. Our salvation depends upon his birth, his death, his resurrection, and our acceptance of Christ as Savior. It is of utmost importance that one believes on the “only begotten of the Father” and accepts Him as his personal Savior. He came to give the more abundant life.

Let all men seek Him, find Him, adore Him, and live such lives as are acceptable to Him. Is it possible that Christ’s birth is commemorated at Christmas, and Christ Himself should be left out? When this happens, many people attempt to fill the resultant emptiness with glitter and decorations, with things and activities. A sincere Christian, seeing the commercialism of the Christmas season, will feel that the true Christmas spirit has been lost. Christmas should be a time of rereading and celebrating the timeless holy story. The Christian celebration should not focus on festivities and selfish activities. Let us joyously call to remembrance “what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” (1 John 3:1). “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift” (2 Corinthians 9:15). With the eye of faith and in the spirit of true humble worship, may we, as the wise men, follow the star that leads to the Christ child and give Him our devotion!

Geology of Jesus

Jesus, also called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. He left the splendors of heaven to come live on earth, the earth He created, to live with mankind, to suffer pain, hunger and hatred, and finally to be crucified on the cross, the punishment reserved for vile criminals. He did this all because He loved us. “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” (Ephesians 5:2).
The story of the birth of Christ, of all stories, lies nearest to the heart of Christians. It is one of the greatest miracles of all ages. In it is revealed the love of God to mankind. Man, through sin, separated himself from the fellowship of God. God promised Adam and Eve a Redeemer after their transgression in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15). It was God’s plan to restore or bring back what was lost.

Challenge to do right 2

“Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan…and pitched his tent toward Sodom” (Genesis 13:11-12). The fields there were fertile and he was blessed materially, but he lost it all when Sodom was destroyed.

Joseph, as a young man, chose to be morally pure and honest, and he was awarded highest honors in the Egyptian kingdom (Genesis 41:41).

Joshua, a servant of God, challenged the children of Israel, “Choose you this day whom ye will serve” (Joshua 24:15). He said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

The people answered, “We will serve the Lord.” As long as they feared the Lord and served Him faithfully, they prospered.

During the time of the prophet Elijah, people had forgotten the mighty works the Lord had done for them, and many turned to idol worship (Baal), which greatly displeased the Lord. He used Elijah at this crucial time in a most spectacular way to show His unlimited power. On Mount Carmel Elijah called fire down from heaven which consumed the sacrifice he had prepared, thus proving that God is truly God. He asked the people, “How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” After they saw the fire come down, “they fell on their faces; and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God” (1 Kings 18).

Daniel, a young captive in the land of Babylon, purposed (chose) in his heart not to defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank (Daniel 1:8). As a result he and his three companions, who likewise made the noble choice, were in favor with God and the king. Had they not made this choice, the examples of Daniel in the lions’ den and that of the three men in the fiery furnace would not be recorded in the Bible.

Jesus gave us a parable of a father who had two sons. One chose to collect his inheritance and go into a far country (into sin). It was not a good choice. After he spent all that he had, he realized what a great mistake he had made. He chose to humbly return to his father’s house. What a blessed reunion that must have been (Luke 15:11-32)!

Jesus our Lord was apprehended and brought before Pilate. The Jews cried out, saying, “If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend.” Pilate pondered the situation before him. He considered Caesar (the world) and the Lord of glory who stood before him. He made his choice, and he delivered Jesus to be crucified (John 19).

Choosing the world with its pleasures will end in destruction (2 Peter 3:10-11).

Deciding to cast one’s lot with the children of God instead of going the course of the world is making a good and wise choice. Having Christ as our companion brings us into the presence of a wise counselor who will guide us in all decisions of life.

A challenge to choose right

Life brings man to the point of decision many times. In fact, choices are made every day. Some choices are made with very little thought. At other times the choice demands much thought and consideration. The ones considered important are made with greater care. The question might be, what do you consider important?

God, when He created man, bestowed upon him the privilege of choice. We cannot sidestep this responsibility nor the results of our choices, for many will have eternal consequences.

Let us look at choices a few Bible characters made. Some were good, and others were not so good. Moses, the man of God, chose “rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season” (Hebrews 11:25). He looked to the reward which would come after this life. Choosing the company of Christian believers is a wise choice indeed.

Before the flood the “sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and took them wives of all which they chose” (Genesis 6:2). They made carnal choices which ended in their destruction.

Spiritual Battle

Every responsible soul encounters great spiritual battles in life. The consequences of these battles are of tremendous weight and importance. The loss of a physical battle can bring disgrace to a leader during his life. The loss of the battle of your soul will bring anguish for eternity. Have you thought of the inevitable consequences of a self-centered Christless life?

Are you going to lose the battle of life? The battle between life and death? The battle between heaven and hell? The battle between self-denial and self-love, your soul and the world? Jesus says, “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).

Whether we have much or little of this natural world in our possession, if we lose our own soul, what a tragedy! Our eternal destiny will be sealed. Many people do not realize that there is a great spiritual battle to be fought. Their understanding has been blinded by Satan and the world, and they are asleep to the realities of the battle against sin. The Bible says, “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” (Ephesians 5:14). Shake off the chains of sin and Satan. Make it a fight to the finish! You cannot escape natural death, but you can escape eternal death. If you lose the battle for your soul’s salvation, it will be an eternal doom in hell and torment.

is there a God 2

Consider one of the fish of the sea. Who put the map in the brain of the salmon that tells it how to leave its ocean home and find the river and the very stream where its life began? There it lays its eggs, and soon after dies, making room in the cycle of life for its offspring who will follow the exact pattern of all its ancestors. Do you think this all just happened by chance?

We know the universe is so well ordered that clocks are set by the rotation of the earth and the various stars and planets. So precise is the movement of these bodies that eclipses and passage of comets can be accurately foretold. Who or what set this precise rhythm of the universe in motion? Is it only chance that among the hostile environments of the heavenly bodies this earth has the right mixture of those elements necessary for plant and animal life? There must be a master plan!

The plan for the universe, nature, our bodies, and our inner personal needs has been set in order by the great God of heaven. No mortal man, past or present, begins to have such power. The precision and detail of his plan shows us that He takes great interest in man and his happiness.

Faith is believing something we cannot see. We cannot see God but we see indications all around us that point to his existence. God has intended that we could not see Him but rather that we could accept his existence by the obvious evidences which testify of Him. God reveals Himself to us as we accept his existence.

One of the most convincing evidences that there is a God is the change that takes place in a person’s life as he becomes intimately acquainted with Him. Those who had the nature of a lion become like a lamb. Where there was hate, there is now love. Where there was fighting, there is now peace. Where there was turmoil within, there is now a quiet rest. Where there were endless questions, there is now confidence. He changes the selfish person into one who cares about others.

Dear reader, do you feel a restlessness inside or a longing for something, but you are not sure what it is? Do not stifle that feeling or try to cover it up. It is your soul reaching out to God. The same God that created the earth can be your God. If you have faith and believe in the God of heaven, your life also can be changed. Instead of resenting the trying circumstances of life, you can rest in the knowledge that God sees and hears and cares.

God reveals Himself through his Word, the Bible. The Bible is history; it is prophecy; it is instruction for life. But, it is also the love of God to us, and gives direction for the inner needs of the soul. Read the Bible. Start with Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1-5. Read Psalms 23 and 51. Pray to God. He promises He will hear you.

Is There A God?

Is there a God? Is there a supreme being or ruler of the universe? How can I be certain? The answer to this question is of utmost importance because, if there is a God and I ignore Him, what will the consequences be?

There are searching questions that demand an answer. Why am I here? From where did I come? What will happen after death? What is the purpose for my life? There must be a reason for my existence.

Throughout the ages of time, people have felt compelled to worship something or someone greater than themselves. Ancient cultures had sun gods, moon gods, thunder gods, and many others. Some native Americans, when discovered by the Europeans, were worshipping what they called the Great Spirit. The ancient Jewish nation worshipped Yahweh, creator of the Earth. It is apparent that inside every person is something that longs to relate to a higher power.

How can the harmony and balance of nature be explained? Think of the seemingly endless food chains, both on the land and in the water. One animal is food for another, which in turn feeds another. This cycle goes on and on, and always there is food for yet another.

Who put the calendar in the heads of the wild birds so they know when it is time to migrate to a warmer climate? How do they know that spring is returning to the land thousands of miles away? One may say it is instinct. That is true, but who placed the instinct there?

Drugs, Alcohol, and Immorality?

People, because of their inherent sin, readily follow the tendencies and passions that Satan has designed. In this state the flesh seeks unrestricted fulfillment. Sexual immorality does not quench the fire of lust-it fuels it. Illicit sexual activity is no more a cure for lust than whiskey is a treatment for alcoholism. The truth is that weneed to deal with our lust. The soul-that part that lives on in eternity, when reaching out for God’s salvation-seeks to respect His laws.

Fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and sexual contact with animals is forbidden by the Word of God (Leviticus 18:23; Galatians 5:19-21). Immorality brings pain, heartbreak, wretchedness, guilt, and sexually transmitted diseases. Purity brings a sense of self-worth and dignity. It is a gross distortion to envision the highly principled individual as living in misery while the person of low morals has a life of bliss and fulfillment.

What about Drugs, Alcohol, and Immorality?

Amid this morass of immorality and spiritual blindness, of sin and shameless ungodliness, the Holy Bible sets the standard for moral behavior. It is the unquestionable and eternal authority on the matter of right and wrong.

God created man with the sex urge for the propagation of the human race and the enhancement of the marriage bond between husband and wife. He sanctions fulfillment of this desire only within rightful marriage. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: But whoremongers and adulterers God will judge (Hebrews 13:4).

In the book of Romans, the apostle Paul writes on God’s judgment on homosexuality. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (Romans 1:26-28). This was the abominable sin of Sodom and Gomorrah, and brought God’s Judgment upon them (Genesis 19). According to the scriptures it is impossible to retain the Holy Spirit in our hearts and live a Christian life if we live and practice these sins.

If you want to be really happy in life and be at peace with yourself and God, you must come into fellowship with Him. Recognize and confess that you are a sinner and believe that Jesus died on the cross bearing your guilt. Victory is awaiting you!

As you open your heart to God and confess your sins, He will forgive you. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Willingly commit your whole life to Jesus, your Savior, and follow in true obedience to His Word and Holy Spirit. The blessings of the changed life are pure thoughts, which bring about a wonderful change in our actions and activities. Christ will give you courage to face the problems of life and strength to overcome the temptations that may assail you. Come to Jesus now while He is calling. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near (Isaiah 55:6).

Sin of Immorality 2

Men and women are seeking a life of pleasure and are going to all means to satisfy their lust. They are enjoying today and not worrying about tomorrow, unconcerned about giving an account of their deeds on the judgment day when all must stand before God. Some of the pleasures which are indulged in today are drink, drugs, and sex. Men and women go to parties and dances to relax and enjoy themselves. There every passion can be aroused with very little or no control. They often indulge in drink and drugs which rob them of their reasonable sense. Satan is in control. “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise” (Proverbs 20:1). “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). Because of these indulgences, homes are broken, and innocent children are left without father or mother. Sometimes the resulting hatred is so great that it ends in murder. “The way of transgressors is hard” (Proverbs 13:15). In Galatians 5:19-21 we read that the works of the flesh are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, hatred, murders, drunkenness; and that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

It is accepted in many cultures to have a boy or girl friend and start dating at a young age. This often is supported by the parents who think this will help their child be more accepted and included in the popular crowd. The young people soon become too familiar with each other. Much time is spent in dating and partying, which all too often leads to petting and sex. The reasoning might be that others are doing it. “But every man [boy or girl] is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:14-15).

Many times young people do not consider the consequences of these sins. They think they can escape the penalty of sin, but no one is a match for Satan. Young men violate young women and the sacredness of procreation is lost. Consciences are defiled and purity is lost. Innocence is destroyed. The pure beginning that enhances intimacy in marriage is compromised. Often times the girl finds herself pregnant. This results in shame, guilt, confusion, and the prospect of the responsibility of caring for a child. Often the mother resorts to an abortion. A life is destroyed, which adds still more sin and guilt to her heart. Otherwise, young people become parents at a premature age. The enjoyable years of youth are spoiled, the young girl’s friends forsake her, parents and family are disappointed-all because of a little sinful enjoyment. These are the wages of sin. “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).

Marriage is honorable and a blessing to those who follow the plan of God. God intended men and women to be happy and enjoy the marriage union. “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled” (Hebrews 13:4) A couple in love with each other may plan to marry, but to live together as husband and wife without being properly married is sin in the eyes of God.

God spoke against homosexual practices. Through Moses He said, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination” (Leviticus 18:22). When one allows sexual lusts to dominate his thoughts, he will sometimes resort to deviant practices in order to satisfy his unrestrained passions. Homosexuals no longer are ashamed of their immoral conduct. They have come out in the open and want to be accepted by society. Homosexuality is often excused because of inherited characteristics; however, personal accountability must be accepted. “For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people” (Leviticus 18:29). In regards to these sins, Romans 1:32 reads, “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death.”

Some serious diseases in the human race are the result of immoral conduct. The dreaded AIDS and other venereal diseases are common. Needless suffering and death have ensued because of these diseases. Those who defy the laws of God will endure the consequences of such disobediences.

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). The word chastity means to be sexually pure, not indulging in sexual relations outside of marriage (fornication), not engaging in immoral practices. To be chaste is a command of God given to Moses for his people. “Thou shalt not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14). Jesus says, “Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery” (Luke 16:18).

Sexual sin is a great distraction to a person in his work causing him to deviate from his worthy goals or to neglect his duties. His family is neglected, which results in an unhappy home. Guilt from such sins often causes emotional distress. On the other hand, the rewards of pure living are great. A morally pure person can have peace of mind and freedom from fear, whereas the impure can have no part in the kingdom of God. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?” (1 Corinthians 6:9).

The Spirit of God will reprove an individual of sin and will lead him to repentance. An immoral life can be changed and the sins forgiven if one’s repentance is sincere. The first step is to recognize the sin and its seriousness in the eyes of God, without an attempt to justify one’s self. Then one must come to God with humility, acknowledging his guilt with a heartfelt sorrow, pleading for forgiveness and asking for grace to make restitution and forsake sin. Jesus says, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden [with sin], and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Let us turn from our evil ways and call unto the Lord while there is time.

Sin of Immorality

Purity of mind, conscience, and body is a tremendous personal asset. While this alone is not godliness, it is a Christian virtue and a blessing to mankind. The declining moral values of today are allowing men and women to accept and indulge in behavior that the Bible clearly defines as sin. This behavior has become an accepted way of life for many people. That which God calls sin is often no longer called sin. What will be the result?

Television, movies, and much literature are filled with violence, sex, and other immoral practices. This evil influence is brought into the home for entertainment. The minds of men, women, and children are filled with lustful thoughts and desires. It is sad that this evil environment is even found in the homes of some professing Christians today.

God’s Word tells us that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13). “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection…despisers of those that are good…lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (2 Timothy 3:1-4).

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Jesus told his disciples in words that we can understand and apply to our lives, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications” (Matthew 15:19). “For as he [man or woman] thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Again Jesus says in the Holy Scriptures, “Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart” (Matthew 5:28).

ARE YOU SAFE #2

We all hope that we can continue to live in safety and security. The success of a nation depends on God’s blessings. If men repent of their sinful lives and fear Him, He may choose to lengthen the days of that nation’s tranquility (Dan. 4:27). William Wilberforce (1759-1833), a member of the British Parliament, said that his hope for Britain depended “not so much on her navies and armies, nor on the wisdom of her rulers, as on the persuasion that she still contains many who love and obey the gospel of Christ, that their prayers may prevail.” The safety of a nation depends less upon its military might and more upon the prevalence of righteousness and the fear of God among its people.

Our personal safety is a separate matter. We can have an inner security that no earthly nation can offer. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence” (John 18:36). The kingdoms of this world are in God’s hands and will not endure forever. Our personal relationship with God is of a different dimension. When we are in God’s kingdom, we are in a kingdom that is not subject to the success or failure of any earthly nation. His kingdom is much more secure than any superpower. There we are safe, regardless of what happens to any nation. Kingdoms rise and fall, but Jesus promised that no man is able to pluck His children out of His Father’s hand. (John 10:29)

According to Bible prophecy, “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse” (2 Tim. 3:13). The future offers no security. The strife and turmoil around the world may grow worse as eternity approaches. There is a day coming in which God has determined “that there should be time no longer” (Rev.10:6). In 2 Peter 3:10 we read, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” The Holy Scriptures say that every knee shall bow, and that all men will be gathered before the throne of the almighty Judge. On that great Judgment Day, when “heaven and earth shall pass away” (Mat. 24:35), no earthly power will be able to give us safety. All people shall bow before the great King and be judged. No caves or fortresses will be able to protect those who seek refuge in them. All means of transportation will come to a halt. Manmade weapons will be useless. There will be no reassuring wail of sirens; no emergency or law-enforcement personnel rushing to our rescue. You and I will face the great Judge all alone. At that point, our only safety will be if our name is written in the Book of Life in heaven (Luke 10:20). Our names are written in this book when we repent of our sins and believe in Jesus Christ. He then forgives us and we are cleansed through His precious blood, which was shed on the cross that the whole world could be saved. We are then accepted as children of God.

God’s children are not exempt from sickness or suffering. They may even lose their lives, but they need not fear because they are safe in the arms of Jesus. Regardless of what happens to them, they can trust that even suffering is for their good. (Rom. 8:28)

Do you long for security? Do you have deep inner yearnings that you cannot satisfy? Although the soul longs for God, the sinful nature of man reaches for fleshly desires. Without the peace of God, a sinner is “like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt” (Isa. 57:20). In this conflict, too many people follow the path of least resistance and make a decision by indecision. Finally, they slip from life into death and face a long eternity.

Real and lasting peace can only be found when we surrender mind, body, and spirit to the One who has made us and loves us. He is not only the Master of the world, but He knows our lives from the beginning to the end. He came into this world “to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” (Luke 1:79). He suffered and shed His precious blood so that we can have peace and security.

Do you feel the weight of sin in your heart? Do you worry about the future, or do you try to block it out of your mind? Are you burdened with more than you can bear? Do you desire to be safe and secure? Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Mat. 7:7). The Lord has a remedy for your sins. He is the great burden-bearer, and nothing is too difficult for Him. Acts 3:19 urges “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” God, speaking through the prophet Jeremiah, promised, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end…And ye shall seek for me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:11, 13).

ARE YOU SAFE ? #1

Man’s inner conflict has also caused all manner of outward conflict, often resulting in murder or war. There has always been much strife on earth; one tribe quarrels with another, one nation strives to bring another nation under its rule. In these conflicts, one nation has always emerged victorious, only to weaken later and become subject to another nation. The prophet Daniel says, “that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will” (Dan. 4:17), and “He removeth kings, and setteth up kings” (Dan. 2:21).

The numerous, brazen acts of terrorism around the world have shaken the security of many people. These events have brought fear into many hearts and an uncertainty about the future.

Why Some Homes Are Unhappy

Why, then, are many homes unhappy? Why are they being broken by discord, separation, and divorce? It is because God’s pattern has been disregarded. Within His Word is found the needed building material for a happy home. Homes built according to His Word are places of love, trust, mutual interest, and unselfish service one to another. Such homes will bring happiness into our lives and preserve our communities and nations. Are you following the plan of God, the Master Architect? “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it” (Psalm 127:1).

In youth, the foundation is laid for our future homes. A life pure before God is an important ingredient in our preparation for marriage. Premarital sinfulness undermines moral stability and places the future home in jeopardy. Self-centeredness and self-gratification in our youth set a pattern of living that wreaks havoc in marriage. The high rate of divorce is sufficient proof of these facts. These sins must be thoroughly repented of before there can be a new life in Christ. The past can then be laid to rest and God will enter with His blessings.

A home begins when a man and a woman are joined together in marriage. The Bible says we are to marry “only in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 7:39). This means that both the man and woman have surrendered their lives and wills to the Lord. God must have first place. When the man and woman are both unselfish, they can enjoy mutual happiness.

 Looked That Healed

Jesus the True Shepherd

One evening the shepherd counted only ninety-nine sheep. One of the sheep was still out on the mountain! Curious about the world around him, that sheep had fallen behind. Green tufts of grass lured him away from the trail. He stopped to investigate flowers, trees, and bushes he had never noticed before. Captivated by his discoveries, he forgot about following the shepherd and was left far behind. As evening came, he suddenly realized that he was alone and far from home. He was afraid and began to run. In his confusion he went the wrong way. He could not find the shepherd, the sheep, or the path home.

Night fell and a storm came. The lost sheep huddled under a bush, soaked and miserable. “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way” (Isaiah 53:6). Eventually the thunder and the rain ceased. The noises and shadows of the night frightened the sheep into running again. Thorns tore him and he began to bleed. Behind him, howling wolves found his trail and gave chase.

When the shepherd realized the sheep was missing, he shut the gate to the sheepfold, took his staff, and returned to the mountain. The shepherd also faced the storm and the darkness. He was hungry, wet, and cold. He often stopped to call for the sheep, but he heard no reply. He was tired, but persistently continued to search. When the shepherd heard the howls of the wolves in the distance, he knew his sheep was in great danger. He urgently set off in that direction. Could the sheep be rescued before it was too late?

The lost sheep also heard the howls of the wolves. He continued to run until he was weak and exhausted. He did not realize the cruel wolves were chasing him into a trap. Night fell upon a dreadful scene. The sheep was caught by thorns near the edge of the cliff. He was bleeding, exhausted, and surrounded by wolves. He struggled pitifully, but he could not save himself. It seemed he had reached his end. All that he could do was cry out for help.

The shepherd heard and came quickly! Fearlessly he faced the wolves and drove them away. He went to his crying sheep and gently pulled him out of the thorns and away from the edge of the cliff. He bathed his wounds and applied healing ointment. Then he took him in his arms and tenderly carried him home. The lost sheep had been found. “So will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them” (Ezekiel 34:12).

We are all like the lost sheep. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, loves us and has a safe place for us. There is also an enemy that wants to destroy our soul. Satan tempts us with many enticing things, promising security and good times. In the end, his promises leave us empty. The happiness and fulfillment that Satan offers is false and elusive. We become frustrated and afraid; we are injured and torn. We wander blindly and cannot escape.

Thankfully, Jesus has provided a way of escape. He is still seeking those who have been lured away by Satan and are trapped by his devices. “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We need to pray to Jesus, acknowledging our sin and asking for forgiveness. We then commit our lives totally to Him, leaving our sinful ways. Jesus died for us and paid for our sins with his blood so we can be clean and free before God. There is much rejoicing in heaven when a lost sheep is found and carried by the Shepherd into his sheepfold. “And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray” (Matthew 18:13).

Coming to God

Coming to God
Now the question is, how do we come to God? The answer is in the Bible. “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him” (John 6:44). God, through His Holy Spirit, makes us aware that we are sinners and in need of a Savior. Sometimes we don’t fully understand God’s call. We may begin to notice an empty, lonely feeling in our heart—a need of something, a feeling we are not right, a conviction we are lost.

When we become aware of this restlessness in our spirit, we need to open our heart to God for direction. The load of sin will become very heavy, and our heart will become remorseful because of our past sinful life. God wants us to surrender our life to Him in true repentance. When God sees our broken and contrite heart and our readiness to fully do His will, He forgives our past sinful life, and we receive forgiveness and peace (Psalm 34:18; Psalm 51:16-17). Oh, how happy we now are, and we want to share with others what Christ has done in our heart!

This freedom is not something that comes through human reasoning. It is a work of the Holy Spirit in the heart that converts us to a new life. Through this power of the Holy Spirit, we have faith to trust God so we can lay down our own will and forgive others. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

The Bible way of forgiveness is beautiful. A trusting faith in the sacrifice of Jesus, coupled with a complete surrender to God and His will, removes the guilt from our heart. Our sins are completely covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. The forgiveness that God gives to us takes away our offenses and hurts. He wipes the slate clean and forgets our sins, “And their iniquities will I remember no more” (Hebrews 8:12). What a wonderful freedom we can experience when God forgives our sins and we can forgive our fellow man. You too can experience this in your heart and life. Come to the Lord today!

Unconditional Forgiveness

Jesus taught that the only way for us to grant forgiveness to others is in the way He has forgiven us. We are to forgive regardless of the nature or gravity of the offense against us, the number of offenses, or the character of the offender. We are to show unconditional mercy as God has shown mercy to us. As we humble ourselves and extend forgiveness to others, God opens the way for us to seek forgiveness for our own mistakes and sins. God fully forgives all who come to Him with a humble and repentant spirit.

As we follow the Holy Spirit, we will know the truth, and the truth will make us free (John 8:32). Verse 36 says, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

“To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts” (Hebrews 3:15). In Matthew 11:28, Jesus said, “Come unto me… and I will give you rest.” As we follow these teachings, we will be forgiven and will be able to forgive others.

Unforgiveness

Let us take note that, because of our sins, we would be worthy of eternal death. But because of His love and mercy toward us, Jesus died in our stead, so we can be forgiven and our transgressions covered.

Unforgiveness Brings Bondage
When we experience Christ’s gracious forgiveness, we receive peace. To retain this peace, it is necessary to forgive others. Christ tells us in Matthew 6:14-15, “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Jesus told a story that teaches us about the perils of unforgiveness. The story was about a king who wanted to check his servants’ accounts. He found that he had a servant who owed him a very large sum of money, equal to many years’ wages. The king told the servant that he, his family, and all his possessions would have to be sold. The servant begged for mercy and the king forgave him of his debt. This servant later found one of his fellow servants who owed him a small sum, about a day’s wages. He told his fellow servant that he would have to pay in full. His fellow servant begged for mercy, but the servant would not forgive the debt. When the king heard of this, he called his servant to him. He said, “I forgave you when you asked me. Should you not have done the same?” The king then sent him to prison until the debt could be paid. Jesus then said that our Heavenly Father will not forgive us if we do not forgive others. (Matthew 18:23-35)

Hating someone, holding an offense, or harboring a grudge causes many negative effects. The person who allows such attitudes in his life becomes miserable. His health suffers, as do his relationships.

When we don’t forgive others, it brings about a bondage to our souls that could be compared to being enslaved by people or bound by a substance addiction. This unforgiveness causes a bitterness within us. It locks in sorrow, anger, and strife; it locks out joy, love, and fellowship. This bitterness is a result of a proud spirit that seeks to keep score and gain revenge for perceived and real wrongs. If we refuse to release our offended feelings, they will eventually control us. We will be in bondage to them as well as in the bondage of sin before God.

Forgiveness Through Christ’s Blood

We need to be forgiven by God in order to be saved. Jesus’ blood is the only way for this to happen. We must humble ourselves and forgive others in order to receive forgiveness. Will you accept God’s forgiveness? This is good teaching for those who are struggling to understand forgiveness.

Are you forgiven? Your eternal future depends on the answer to this serious question. The Bible teaches us that “there is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). Verse 23 of the same chapter states, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” We must find God’s forgiveness if we want to be saved from the consequences of sin. Someday we will meet the Lord in judgment. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10). We are facing eternity, and this makes it imperative that we know if we are forgiven. If forgiven, we will be accepted into heaven. If not forgiven, we will be sentenced to eternal hell with the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:31-34, 41).

Forgiveness Through Christ’s Blood
So, what can we do to save our soul? We cannot save ourselves, but we can accept the plan that God has provided for us. It will help us to understand this plan when we consider what He showed to His people, the Israelites, before Christ came. God told them to sacrifice animals. The lambs that were slain pointed toward the perfect Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who would redeem all people by shedding His blood for their sins. The shedding of blood also helped the people understand the seriousness of sin. Ephesians 1:7 says, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.”

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things… But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18-19). Our forgiveness comes through Christ’s death and the spilling of His blood for the sins of man (Hebrews 9:22).
Let us take note that, because of our sins, we would be worthy of eternal death. But because of His love and mercy toward us, Jesus died in our stead, so we can be forgiven and our transgressions covered.

JESUS IS RETURNING SOON

Approximately 2,000 years after creation, God destroyed mankind with a great flood because they had become so wicked that the imaginations of their heart were evil continually (Genesis 6:5). Just as the people of Noah’s day were not expecting a flood to come, many people today are not expecting Jesus to come again. His return will be unexpected—as a thief in the night. (2 Peter 3:10). Why do we believe it will be soon? Look around you; what do you see?

The Bible tells us how it will be in the last days. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof” (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Look at the conditions in the world today. Many people have forgotten God. There are destructive and hateful uprisings in many cities. Bloodshed and murder are daily occurrences. Youth are uneasy, restless, and rebellious. Parents are leaving children to themselves at the very time they need them most. Atheism, substance abuse, gun violence, and gang activity are prevalent in today’s society. Biblical teachings about marriage and immorality are disregarded and often scorned. Will it get better? Do you see any chance for improvement? What do you think? How long can this go on? God is longsuffering and continues to call all people to salvation, but one day He will call all this to an end. There is a day of judgment coming when every person will give an account before God.

Jesus is coming again as the Bible plainly teaches. Jesus said, “Surely I come quickly” (Revelation 22:20). This is one event we will not miss. Everyone will see Him coming, and when He comes He will judge all people (Matthew 25:32, Revelation 20:12). Some will go with Him to heaven; some will be doomed to hell. What about you—where will you go? You must choose.

We Are All Sinners
We are all born with a sinful nature—prone to sin. No one can say he is free of sin because we are all born with a proud and selfish nature that is sinful. It is man’s very nature to lie, cheat, and steal. As children, we did many things we knew were wrong. When we came to adulthood, we found we still tended to do those very same things. Sin includes dishonesty, greed, pride, immorality, and substance abuse. Sin will not go unpunished. “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). We cannot rid ourselves of sin, and sin will never enter heaven.

Someday Jesus will descend and take those who are ready with Him to heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). Those who are not ready will be cast into the fire of hell. This fire will burn forever, “Where… the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44). For those who are not ready, there will be pain and torment, weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth for all eternity. “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever” (Revelation 14:11). Our finite minds cannot fully understand what that means. Lost—cast away with absolutely no hope!

And to think that through stubbornness, neglect, and sin, they missed the reward of eternal salvation! It will be no one’s fault but their own. God, in his love, provided a way of escape, but they neglected to accept it.

God’s Love
There is no better explanation of God’s love than in John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Jesus invites everyone: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me… For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

The way out of our lost condition is to repent of our sins and accept Jesus as our Savior. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37). The Word of God points us to Jesus, the Lamb of God who shed his blood to take away our sin and rose from the dead to give us eternal life. If you are not ready for the return of Jesus, come to Him today. He is waiting for you with open arms. Those who are ready are looking forward to his return. “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8).

The prophesies concerning the return of Christ have been fulfilled, and Jesus may come at any time.

Jesus is coming! We know not how soon,
coming at midnight, at morning, or noon;
Evening may bring Him to bear us away.

The Power of Resurrection

These words recorded in John 4:29 were spoken by a Samaritan woman with a sense of wonderment and awe. She had just met a Man at the village well who said He was the Messiah. Something about this Man convinced her that He knew all about her although not many words were spoken. She felt his love and compassion even though she was living in sin. With a sense of urgency she hurried back to her village, her water pot forgotten. “Come,” she said, “come see and hear for yourselves.”

Jesus came to earth with a message of hope. His love and compassion reached out to everyone, including the outcasts of society. He healed the sick, comforted the distressed, and preached salvation. Many received his teachings and followed Him. The religious leaders felt threatened by his message of love and humility, and plotted to kill Him. He was betrayed, arrested, and sentenced to die. As the angry mob followed, Roman soldiers took Jesus up the hill of Golgotha and nailed Him to a wooden cross between two thieves.

Jesus was crucified at nine o’clock in the morning. At noon the sky darkened for three hours. Afterward, Jesus cried with a loud voice, “It is finished,” and gave up his life. There was a mighty earthquake that rent the rocks and opened many graves.

Jesus’s disciples took his body down from the cross. They lovingly placed it in a new tomb and closed the entrance with a large stone. Early in the morning of the third day there was a great earthquake. An angel came down from heaven and rolled the stone away from the tomb. Some women who loved Him came to anoint his body, and they were surprised to find the tomb empty. They were met by angels who told them, “He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words” (Luke 24:6-8).

Following his resurrection Jesus met his disciples in an upper room. He showed them the wounds in his hands and his side and blessed them with the peace of God. He spent forty days teaching and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. With his death and resurrection, the plan of salvation was completed.

One day while speaking with his disciples, Jesus told them to wait at Jerusalem until they received the power of the Holy Spirit. This would enable them to witness for Him wherever they went. When He finished speaking, He lifted up his hands, blessed them, and ascended into heaven. As the disciples watched Him ascend, two men in white clothing appeared and said, “Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).

So when the people of Samaria heard Jesus’s message, they believed on Him. They told the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, but because we have heard Him ourselves and know that He really is the Christ.” The gospel of Jesus Christ, which is his teachings, death, and resurrection, is the power of God unto salvation. To experience salvation, come to Jesus, repent, and forsake sin. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and commit your life to Him. Then through the power of the Holy Spirit you can love and forgive all people, even your enemies. As Christians continue in faithful obedience, Jesus gives power to live victoriously over sin.

Jesus is now in heaven interceding for mankind and preparing a place for the faithful (John 14:2-3). Someday soon He will return to judge the world. The apostle John wrote about that day. “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it… And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened… and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books” (Revelation 20:11-12). God will separate the faithful followers of Jesus Christ from those who lived in selfish unbelief. He will receive all the faithful into the heavenly mansions He has prepared.

Do you know the One who knows everything about you? Are you experiencing the power of the resurrection today? If not, then come. Come and see the risen Lord!

Abiding in God’s Grace

In the beginning, after God had created Adam and Eve, He loved to fellowship with them while they walked together in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve did not know about sin and evil because they were innocent and pure. God gave Adam and Eve only one commandment to obey. They were not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. From the beginning, God has given mankind the power of choice, and He has never revoked it.

Satan, a powerful fallen angel, deceived Eve by tempting her to eat of the fruit from the forbidden tree. He told her she could disobey God without any consequences, and that eating the fruit would give her godlike knowledge. Then Eve chose to eat and offered the fruit to her husband, and he made the same terrible mistake.

What a fatal choice! Their innocence was gone. They were guilty. Shamefully recognizing their nakedness, they tried to cover themselves with aprons of fig leaves. They became afraid of God and hid when they heard His voice. That was only the beginning of trouble. Adam and Eve were banned from the Garden of Eden and they became subject to sin and death. Even the earth was cursed because of what they had done.

They now found they were inclined to do evil. Their knowledge of good and evil did not keep them from doing wrong. Spiritual death passed down to their children and, eventually, to all their posterity.

The influence of evil is all around us. We find every evil thing imaginable in our world today. People are proud and lustful, seeking pleasure and power. They make many wrong choices and suffer the sad consequences. One person’s choice often makes those around him miserable. How terrible are the results of sin!

Many homes are unhappy because of wrong choices. Children often suffer when families are separated through divorce. People indulge in addictions and evil habits. Innocent children grow up under this influence, accepting it as normal, corrupting their young minds. How will this cycle be broken?

Give Him your heart today.

THE LOST SHEEP

Jesus the True Shepherd

Ah, yes you can; but, first, you must not listen to that other voice anymore.

Now, when you are quiet, you will hear the gentle voice of Jesus calling you to give your whole life to Him. You will hear Him telling you to be sorry for all your sins and to confess them.

Maybe, sometime when you were very still, you were thinking, “What shall I do with all my troubles and burdens? I wish I could be good. I wish I would be at a place where I’d never be hungry or sick anymore. What will happen to me when I die?”

And maybe you have had many more thoughts. That is the voice of Jesus calling you.

Wouldn’t you like to be His sheep and know His voice? He wants to be your friend. He will take away your burden of sin. You will feel happy inside. You will be loving and kind like He is. He will help you to overcome your fears.

Even if others would mock you for being a Christian, you know that Jesus will take care of you. Even if the stranger would tempt you again, you must trust Jesus to help you overcome.

When you are safe in the Shepherd’s loving arms, you know that at the end He will take you to His wonderful, happy home with God to live with Him forever!

Escape From Despair

I can remember as a child living in a very small house on a reserve with my father, mother, and baby brother. The house had two small rooms and an attic. I can remember being by myself on several occasions with my baby brother, eating raw porridge and giving my brother canned milk in his bottle. My mother and father would take off to town to go drinking and not return for a day or more. Many times we sat in a vehicle outside the bar until late at night waiting for my parents. They would come out and give us chips and pop and go back in.

I remember one night my mother and father put me to bed and left. I could see them walking in the dark towards the highway to hitchhike to town. I was calling out and crying to no avail as they kept walking. They were gone for several days. I remember going to the neighbor’s place and staying there. I would run home to see if my parents were home and finally one day they were. My mom was washing clothes but I’m not sure where my father was. Sometimes my mother would leave my father and go away and my father would go looking for her and bring her home. They fought a lot.

I think it was during this time that someone reported them to Social Services because not long after that the police came and got me and my brother. I remember trying to run away and my father chasing me and crying and telling me I had to go. I was sitting in the police car crying. They took me to a strange place. Later I was taken to a foster home. I was with a man and woman. The man was not a nice man. It was a bad experience.

Then the social worker came to pick me up and took me to a residential school. I just turned 6.

I remember going to where my aunt lived. I ran up the hill to an old log house where my aunt was sitting at the table eating. My mother was there. I was overjoyed to see her. She went with me and the social worker to find my dad. We stopped at a bar where we found him. He was so drunk. He took me to a store and bought me all kinds of treats for school. When we got to the school they sent me out to the playground while my dad, mother, and the social worker had a meeting.

My dad came out to the playground staggering and crying and wanting to say goodbye to me. I cried and screamed and did not want to let him go. It was the last time I was to see him. He died that Christmas Eve, drunk and fighting. I grieved for a long time by myself. I would cry and walk in the field talking to God and my dad up in the clouds. I would leave pieces of paper or items in a certain place and tell my dad to take it away if he hears me. A lot of times it would still be there.

I remember going home that summer to where my grandfather and grandmother lived. My mother was there. I was still expecting to see my dad. My mother cried a lot and would sing “How Far Is Heaven, I’d like to know. I want my daddy, he’s there I know.” I loved my mother; she called me her baby girl. She was very pretty and always dressed nicely. She would leave and go south to pick apples in the fall.

My mother came home one year with a strange man. Each year she came home to my grandparent’s place she would be pregnant and leave the child with my grandmother.

I was the second eldest of nine children. My grandmother had quit drinking and took on the responsibility of looking after us. My grandfather would go haying to earn money. My grandmother got money from the government for looking after us and life seemed normal for a few years.

Our house was old and big and a lot of relatives would stop at our place and stay overnight and drink and party. My sister and I were attending a public school. My grandmother did a lot of sewing and made sure we were always dressed nice. She also was a very good cook.

We did all the normal things children did. Ride bikes, go swimming, skating, fishing, sledding, and house hold duties. In the summer we would walk down to the stream at night to get our baths. We didn’t have much but grandmother taught us all the basics of etiquette, cleanliness and work.

When I was ten it seemed my grandmother was very strict. She would spank us with a willow stick that we had to go pick for ourselves and if it wasn’t big enough she would get a thicker one.

Then she started drinking again. A woman had persuaded her to try lemon gin because it was so good. Our normal world started to crumble.

It was during this time that I was raped. After that I just didn’t care what happened. I was fighting, missing school, and started to smoke and rebel.

My brothers were taken away, except for George. He had been adopted into an English home when he was a baby.

The last year we were sent to the residential school I got into a lot of trouble. I would steal food from the kitchen and I still wet my bed. I tried so many things to quit wetting my bed. I felt bad, looked down on, ashamed, less than human, angry and hurt. It seemed I was always walking around with this hurt that I could not understand or identify. I remember going to town on a Saturday. I was with a couple of girls and we stole a bottle of whiskey from a drunk man on the street and we got drunk. I was sent to reform school for girls for six months.

Then I went back to live with my grandmother. It was the last time I saw my brother Manny until 21 years later at my brother Tony’s funeral. He had hung himself and was found by his two sons in his basement. Manny was severely F.A.S. because of my mother and his father’s heavy drinking addiction. He is about 4 foot 5 inches tall with a protruding forehead, small eyes, large lips, and a mentality of a 6 year old. All because of alcohol. He could not believe I was his sister; he was so happy to see me. He kept touching me, smiling and staying close by my side.

I came home that summer only to find I really didn’t have a home. I lived with my grandmother and her sister part of the time and in friend’s sheds part of the time. We went to the dump to get food that the grocery stores took there. That year I had several bad experiences with alcohol. In the fall my grandparents bought a little 15 by 15 shack that we lived in. I was going to public school and was ashamed when I couldn’t find clean clothes or matching socks to wear so I would skip school. The school contacted my grandparents and it was then they turned me over to Social Services.

They put me in a foster home. The woman was white and the man native. They were strict, but taught us a lot. He would spank us with a garden hose when we got out of line. In the summer we would plant a huge garden of fresh vegetables and sell them to the city people. It was a beautiful place. We swam in the river all summer. Our foster parents would give us an allowance for the work we did.

When I was hurting or lonely I would go for long walks up the hills close to where we lived and talk and cry my heart out to God. I didn’t realize at the time it was an inner healing therapy for me, but it helped.

I started attending public school and it was okay until I started struggling with my grades and started skipping school and getting in with the wrong group. I always felt inferior because I was a foster child and native and didn’t seem to measure up.

I had started to experiment with L.S.D. and marijuana. I had a bad trip on L.S.D. after trying it the second time, which I guess was a good thing because I was afraid to try it again. I had side effects from that bad experience on L.S.D. for a couple of years.

I got involved with a man and became pregnant. Our relationship was very stormy. After my son was born we bought a little trailer. I was struggling with alcohol and it was getting worse. I had difficulty staying by myself at night so I would drink to go to sleep and my addiction progressed. I had an accident with the car and didn’t remember. I didn’t have my driver’s license. Now my family was moving closer to me but it was not helping my alcohol problem. I attempted suicide several times because I started hating myself and my hopeless alcohol problem.

I tried to escape through drugs and drinking. Life became hopeless. I tried several treatment centers and AA but couldn’t seem to stay sober more than three months. During this time I split up and reconnected with the father of my three boys a number of times. Finally I took my children and left. It was not easy to raise the children on my own but I always believed in God and somehow He worked things out for me. I met many people who were always willing to help.

I came across a good job with a native organization. I interviewed all aboriginal status women doing a survey for the government. It was at a sober club that I met my husband. Shortly thereafter we got married. We had to try to sort out our life around six boys, aged 5-16 years. It was very difficult. We had a lot of struggles. I was very insecure. I had decided to leave him when he had quite a serious accident and I couldn’t leave him then so I stayed with him and he recovered. At this time there was a tent meeting going on across the street from our place, and my husband said he was going back to church and back to God and he was going to go to this tent meeting. He asked if I wanted to come along and I said no. He started going and I changed my mind and went with him. This was the start of our journey to the Lord.

We started going to church. There we met a pastor couple. I told them about my life. They told me God could help. They asked me if I would die where would I go? I told them I wasn’t sure. I felt that way because I was ashamed of myself. I knew I wasn’t right with God. They explained Christ’s love for me. They told me He loves me and would forgive me. Oh, the forgiveness! Only He can restore me, build me, and forgive me. I am nothing without Him. We all make mistakes. No one is perfect. Everyone has shame, hurts and wounds. I cried and cried and asked God to forgive me. Something happened that night. Jesus came into my heart. He saved me. We don’t have to be burdened with sins of our past. We can be forgiven and move on with a clean slate.

I would like to say that life was perfect after that but it wasn’t. I had to continue to deal with the challenges that life brings. But now Jesus was there with me. I stayed sober and started to grow in my Christian life. I started to attend church.

As the Lord showed me more about Christian living, my thinking, actions and beliefs changed. I started coming against issues that were not Christian at work and lost my job. I was devastated, but later realized it was the best thing that could have happened to me.

I started to become a mother to my children. I started to read the Bible every chance I could. God started to convict me about my appearance. I began to dress more modestly. I also got rid of my TV and bad reading material. I didn’t realize how much I was addicted to the TV until I didn’t have one.

One place we lived I noticed the children our daughter was playing with. I wanted to have a Bible School with them. I made out invitations and took them around. We had Bible School for five days, Monday to Friday. Each day there were more children. The last day we had a wiener roast and twenty-six children showed up. We gave them all Bibles. They were so happy to have their own Bibles and find the verses they had memorized. What a blessing!

Some years later our daughter had a personal experience with the Lord. We knew it was the Spirit that touched her. It was the best thing that ever happened to her. We believe that God wanted us to be here for her. It’s a wonderful, beautiful life.

God has given me a peace in my heart and has changed my life. He is there every day for me.

“For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:3-5).For Prayer and Counseling Send Mail: to  ask@jesuskingdomintl.org

A Friend For You

I have a friend. He is the best friend I have ever had. He is so kind and true that I would like you to know Him, too. His name is Jesus. The wonderful thing is that He would like to be your friend.

Let me tell you about Him. We read this story in the Bible. The Bible is true. It is God’s Word.

The Love of Jesus

“Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God (Mark 10:14).

“And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily, I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them” (Mark 10:13-16).

“We love him, because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19).

God Is the Loving Father

By Mabel Niedermeyer and George F. Root

1. God is the loving Father
Of children everywhere;
No matter where their homes are,
They live within His care.

2. He loves all those in far lands
Whom I may never see;
He also loves the children
Who live next door to me.

CHORUS

I’m glad God is the Father
Of children everywhere,
And that we all may love Him
And talk with Him in prayer.

The Answer For You-Peace and Calmness

Only One True God Do You Know Him?

Everyone worships something. Some people worship objects, some worship a man, some worship an image, and others worship themselves. They reveal their devotion to their god in various ways. As the multitude of these people give their devotion to these gods, there still remains a longing and cry in their hearts. These people are able to find only a temporary relief for the cry of their souls and have little courage to face tomorrow. To their disappointment the future is always the same as the past. The god they are serving is unable to fill the void in their lives.

Whom do you worship? Where does your god live? Is he alive? What did he do for you today? Did you talk with him today? Did he answer the cry of your heart? What do you believe?

Let me introduce you to the one true God who has conquered Satan, our greatest enemy. He is the God of creation, who spoke everything into existence. The Holy Bible will tell you of this God of heaven, who created man from the dust of the earth. Read Genesis, chapters one and two.

He is the eternal God. He has no beginning and no end. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the Creator, Preserver and Sustainer of all things (Acts 17:22-34).

This great God who dwells in the heavens is also interested in you as a person. He sees you among the masses of people. He loves and cares for you. He wants to be more than your friend. He has sent His Son to be your Savior. He wants to live with you, and even more than that, He wants to live within you. He says, “Abide in me, and I in you” (John 15:4).

If He does not dwell in your heart, who does? By looking about us we can see that Satan is ruling and ruining the lives of the masses of people. He is the one who rules these hearts. He suggests all these evils such as lying, stealing, lusting, cheating, seeking revenge, and self-promotion. If Satan lives in your heart, and entices you to indulge in any of these sins and more, why not come to the God of gods who has given His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins and the sins of the whole world (John 3:16).

You ask, “How can this be true? How can One, who is so great, all powerful, and almighty dwell in my heart” (Isaiah 57:15)?

If you are sick and tired of sin, why not call upon God and repent. Through faith in God and by the atoning blood of Christ your sins will be forgiven and you will receive a new nature. Then when Satan comes to tempt, you will feel the presence of the almighty God. He will give you direction and teach you in all things (John 14:26).

In John 10:10, Jesus promises an abundant life and He is able to give it to you. This gift will be yours as long as you remain faithful and obedient to Him. “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19). No other God is this great. If this speaks to your heart, you may want to read the tract: Ye Must Be Born Again.

“We love him, because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19).

God Is the Loving Father
By Mabel Niedermeyer and George F. Root

  1. God is the loving Father
    Of children everywhere;
No matter where their homes are,
    They live within His care.
  2. He loves all those in far lands
    Whom I may never see;
    He also loves the children
Who live next door to me.

Eternity

Eternity defies man’s imagination and comprehension. It is not an object, nor a place, it is not a period of time. It has no beginning and it has no end. All men from Adam to the last one born will be in it.

With the end of time, eternity will reveal many wonders and miracles that cannot be understood in our day. When the Lord returns all eyes shall see him (Revelation 1:7). He will sit on a throne and “all nations” shall be gathered before Him in judgment (Matthew 25:31-322 Corinthians 5:10). There God will judge according to His record of every man’s works (Revelation 20:12-13) the skeptic finds these matters impossible. “All eyes” means multiplied billions, those of every land and sea, the resurrected dead as well as the living. It boggles the mind to think of all nations gathered in one before the judgment throne. Those who think it incredible must note that time has fled and eternity has no limitations. The restrictions of distance and time found in earth life are absent in eternity.

Eternity, as the Bible reveals it, has three aspects-the judgment, the dividing of the righteous from the unrighteous, and the everlasting. This judgment will be final, with neither appeals nor reviews. During man’s lifetime God places before him the choice between right and wrong, endeavoring to bring him into a right relationship with his Creator. Those who will not give heed will, in the final judgment, receive their sentence and then be sent to an eternal punishment. Those who yielded to God in life will have their sins judged before, while those who did not yield will have their sins follow them into the final judgment (1 Timothy 5:24).

After the judgment every man shall be rewarded according to the record in the books, including those whose names are in the book of life (Revelation 20:12). The term reward as used here, is a recompense for acts performed, good or evil.

Eternity will know only two classes of people-the saved and the lost. God will classify them as such by their acceptance or rejection of His great saving plan for mankind while in their earth life. There are only two destinations in eternity for all people-Heaven for the saved and hell for the lost.

To those whose names are found written in the book of life, the eternal Judge will say, “Come, ye blessed, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 25:34); and to those whose names are not in the Book, the Judge will say, “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41).

To some these words will be shocking, and again others will expect them. There are those who pass from time into eternity through death who have prepared to meet God; they died with an assurance in their hearts that they will be with the Lord in eternity. They expect those welcome words, “Come, ye blessed.”

There are also those who in life are already condemned and pass over not prepared to meet God. They have a fearful looking for of judgment (Hebrews 10:27). At that great day they will call upon the mountains and rocks, “Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb” (Revelation 6:16).

This immense throng will also include the disappointed-“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22-23).

What all eternity holds for the immortal beings is not detailed in the Bible. Jesus did, however, say that those who overcame shall sit with Him in His throne (Revelation 3:21); they will be robed in white, and will have no need whatever (Revelation 7:14-17). They will enjoy every blessing prepared for immortal souls.

Those to whom the Judge will say, “Depart from me” shall go into outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 8:12), into hell fire that shall never be quenched (Mark 9:43); they shall have part in a lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:1521:8). These souls will be mentally alert, knowing people (Luke 16:23); they will feel the torment of hell fire (v.24); they will understand (v.26), and they will remember earth life (v.28), but for the lost there will be no benefits in eternity.

Eternity will see Satan, the old dragon, totally and eternally defeated, and an everlasting punishment meted out which will become his gross wickedness. For this purpose hell was primarily prepared (Matthew 25:41). What a gruesome lot to share an eternal place of torment with that most hideous and wicked being, and with all his damnable, evil spirits!

The third aspect of eternity, which is the state of finality, is beyond human grasp. Man’s mind is limited to beginnings and endings. Because of this, man must rely on the truthfulness of God’s Word. God is the author of all things and also of eternity.

If a bird would pick up one grain of sand and carry it to the moon, and in that fashion would eventually carry all of earth away, eternity would still have just begun, but would be no nearer the end. For the wicked this is the most distressing thought possible. However for the righteous, who will be in eternal bliss in Heaven with God and all the holy angels, it will always be welcome.

Now in life, while there is yet time, our eternal destiny can be decided.

Are you ready for eternity? This question demands your answer in this life. Today is the time to prepare for eternity.

One prepares for this great meeting by accepting Jesus Christ as the Savior of man, who died on Calvary’s cross for man’s sins and was raised for his justification (Romans 4:25). This acceptance must be more than a mental resolve; it must be a heart matter, a total surrender to God. This also makes one a follower of Jesus-one who walks with Him, obeys His teachings, and is led by His Spirit.

Failing to so receive Christ will result in eternal banishment from God. Life is too uncertain, death is too sure, and eternity is too long to further risk delay. God’s Word is to be accepted now.

Where Will You Spend Eternity?

“Eternity!-Where? It floats in the air:
Amid clamor, or silence, it ever is there,
            The question so solemn: “Eternity!-Where?”

            “Eternity!-where?” oh, “Eternity!-where?”
With redeemed ones in glory or fiends in despair?
With one or the other: “Eternity-where?”

            “Eternity!-where?” oh, “Eternity!-where?”
Friend, sleep not, nor take this world any share,
            Till you answer the question:
            “Eternity!-where?”

(e) The Fear To God
(f) That Sickness/Infirmity/Disease To God
(g) That Debt To God

(I) That Attack To God
(j) That Enemy To God
(k) Whatever It Is To God
Read Proverbs 4:7, 1 Peter 5:7, Ps 55:22

(2) The Courage To Give The Problem Approach
(a) The courage to tackle the problem or the situation
(b) The courage to handle the problem or the situation.
Read…Joshua 1:1-8,
(3) The Ability To Resist The Problem Or The Situation.
James 4:7….teaches us to submit ourselves therefore to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us. My friend you need the ability to resist the situation, the problem or the enemy so that you can exercise dominion over them and overcome them. After the death of Moses Joshua who later took up the leadership of the children of Israel took a step of wisdom to approach the raging burden before him but along the line he received an extraordinary empowerment of divine abilities from God to tackle his problems and the situation on ground and he became more able than his opponents when when the Bible said to him…Joshua 1:5, No man will be able stand against you all the days of your life, as I was with Moses so I will be with You. Read Judges 6:16.
When these steps are consciously taken there must be solutions to every situation or problem or whatever it is.

MANIFESTATION OF THE WORD

Headline: PEOPLE SHOULD BELIEVE THE FULL MANIFESTATION OF THE WORD THEY HEAR FROM THE MINISTER….Ex 14:31….Vol 1

It’s quite unfortunate that many people who follows and fellowship with some real genuine fully equipped anointed and gracious five fold Ministers of God today…
(1) don’t have faith in their calling
(2) dont understand them and the categories and the levels of their callings,
(3) don’t believe in them and never believes that their preachings, teachings, prayers and prophetic declarations works, be established, be accomplished, be fulfilled in every area of their lives SOMEDAY; I repeatedly say it’s unfortunate and sounds ver ridiculous. Shall we read Ex 14:31, Hos 4:6,1Cor 11:1, 1 Thes 5:12-13, 1 Thes 5:18, Lk 12:48, and may my God and our God abundantly bless anyone who kindly and faithfully read this write up and digest them in good spirit in JESUS CHRIST APOSTLE UCHENNA EZEANOWAYI

Availing  yourself to the mercy of God

Availing  yourself to the mercy of God to free you from all forms of confusion and difficulties.
